As there are only 2 weeks left until the May 1st draw, we wanted to send home some reminders:

• Next week we will update you with an estimate of the jackpot

• Please return any unsold tickets as soon as possible.

• Let your child’s classroom teacher know if you require more booklets of tickets

National Volunteer Week - April 14 - 20

Volunteering matters. Sharing your time, skills, empathy, and creativity is vital to your wellbeing and the inclusivity and strength of our communities. This year’s theme for National Volunteer Week is “Every Moment Matters.” On behalf of the students and staff of Larkhall Academy we want to thank each and every one of you for the moments you volunteer to our school, to the community programs that benefit our students, or to organizations you support in the greater community. 

Family Breakfast

We are happy to announce that Wednesday May 1st will see the return of Larkhall Academy’s Family Breakfast! Staff and volunteers will be serving a pancake breakfast to our Larkhall families from 7:30AM - 8:30AM. The breakfast is for all members of your family.  Please come and join us with your children. To ensure we have enough food prepared we would like to know if your family is planning to attend. Tickets are FREE, they are to help us keep track of numbers. If you would like tickets please complete the form that was sent home with your child on Wednesday, April 17th and return to your child’s teacher by Monday April 22, 2024.  We hope to see many of our families at the breakfast. All students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian in order to attend the breakfast. Students traveling by bus or being dropped off cannot attend the breakfast on their own. –*

Bus Behavior

If your child rides the school bus we ask that you take some time to review the student expectations while riding to and from school. For your convenience, it is also attached to this email.

If your child has an issue on the bus please reach out to Mr. Durdle or Ms. Lee.

We encourage all families to check your Transportation Portal to find the exact location and times for your civic address.
